Notification of application unavailable for sale on Wave3
Dear seller,
Thank you for being a part of Samsung Apps.
We have achieved many improvements for years, thanks to your support and
attention to Samsung Apps.
On October 2011, Samsung released Wave3 devices with bada 2.0.
For Seller’s satisfaction, we performed the test to determine whether applications
(which are currently sold on Wave 1 and 2) are well operated on Wave3.
As a result, we took an action to avoid selling applications on Wave3,
since those applications cannot be normally operated.
You can see the excluded applications for sale on Wave3 among your Wave (WVGA)
applications with the following methods:
1) Seller Office > Applications > My Applications > On Sale
2) Select Application and check whether Wave3 exists at Application Details > Device
Applications that are not operated normally only on Wave3 can also cause the same
problem on Wave1,2 after Wave1,2 firmware upgrade to bada 2.0.
If you want to continue to sell applications on Wave1,2 and Wave3 devices,
please modify and revise applications through Seller Office by using the latest
version of bada SDK.
Non-revised applications will be ‘suspended’ when Wave1,2 devices are being upgraded to
bada 2.0.
We will let you know when Wave 1,2 devices are upgraded to bada 2.0 through the notice
next time.
★ Important: When you revise applications that are modified by bada 2.0, please fill in
the message box below at ‘Step 2. Display information > Certification > Comments
to Certification team’.
Otherwise, applications may be ‘suspended’ when Wave1,2 devices are being upgraded
to bada 2.0.
! Revised application is compatible with Wave3.
Please refer to the guide below when you revise the application.
